How can I associate containers with the Cases they are present in?
Last Updated: June 2024
- It can be useful to associate the containers (ex. trays) to an Event to track their use.
- Even if items from a container aren’t used in a case, the case may still be sterilized for that case which is useful to track.
- What if items were lost or misplaced during sterile processing, and what about tracking the number of sterilization cycles over the course of a container’s lifecycle?
-
You may associate containers while you are creating the case.
- You may also associate containers in the Event detail screen after the case has been created.
-
Lastly, there is a field in the Container screen to keep track of which Events a container has been assigned to.
-
In the Associated Events Section see all events the container is associated with in a list or calendar view.
-
Along the right side bar see the last event the container was associated with.
-
Calendar View
You can also view past and upcoming cases that the container is associated with in the calendar view to help with inventory planning and case coverage.
