How can I associate containers with the Cases they are present in?

Last Updated: June 2024

  • It can be useful to associate the containers (ex. trays) to an Event to track their use.
  • Even if items from a container aren’t used in a case, the case may still be sterilized for that case which is useful to track.
  • What if items were lost or misplaced during sterile processing, and what about tracking the number of sterilization cycles over the course of a container’s lifecycle?

  1. You may associate containers while you are creating the case.

  2. You may also associate containers in the Event detail screen after the case has been created.
  3. Lastly, there is a field in the Container screen to keep track of which Events a container has been assigned to.

    1. In the Associated Events Section see all events the container is associated with in a list or calendar view.

    2. Along the right side bar see the last event the container was associated with.
