How can I report on Stocking Orders and Facility Stock Cases?
Stocking Orders, as direct sales, may need to be reported on separately from the rest of your sales and commissions handled differently. This article references the various reports you can use:
How to report on Stocking Order Sales
To report on stocking order sales:
1. Navigate to the reports tab and open the Sales Data Export
2. Modify your filters to include the proper date range
3. Keep the "Existing Facility Stock Used (Yes / No)" filter set to "No"
4. Make sure your filter selections include the Event Type: Stocking Order (select only Stocking Order to view Stocking Order sales only)
5. Apply filters by clicking the purple refresh button
How to report on Facility Stock Cases
Reporting on cases in which facility stock was used is a bit different:
1. Navigate to the reports tab and open the Facility Stock Sales report dashboard
2. This report shows all cases where Facility Stock was used.
3. Scroll down to the Facility Stock Event Data table to locate these cases and their information.
4. You can also find case and event data in the Sales Data Export and Case Report with the right filters applied.
How to report on commissions from Facility Stock Cases
Cases that utilize facility stock may still be attended by a sales rep and so commissions may need to be calculated on the individual case regardless. To do this we can look up the sale value of those devices on those cases:
Using the Sales Data Export:
1. Navigate to the reports tab and open the Sales Data Export
2. Modify your filters to include the proper date range
3. Change the "Existing Facility Stock Used (Yes / No)" filter set to "Yes" to show only events where facility stock was used (pre-sold inventory)
4. Apply your filters with the refresh button. The resulting sales report will show any facility stock used in cases during the given time period. The sale price will show the original price the inventory was sold at, though not sold at the point of use. This data can help you sort out which items and sales should be commissioned to which user.
Using the Facility Stock Sales dashboard:
1. Navigate to the Reports page and open the Facility Stock Sales dashboard.
2. The reports in this dashboard automatically report on cases where Facility Stock Inventory was used.
3. Apply filters to narrow down the field further.
4. Use the Unpaid Commissions report to identify use of facility stock in cases where commissions should be paid for the original sale, because a rep covered the case where the inventory was subsequently used.
