How can I tell when a device was deactivated?

It is quite simple to find out when a device was deactivated in Beacon. 

Please note that the Deactivation Date field was created in July 2024, devices deactivated before this date will not have a Deactivated On date. 

  1. Navigate to the All Inventory page
  2. Use the inventory filters to find your device (Select Show Inactive/Deactivated inventory)
  3. Next locate the device and click on its description to access its detail screen. 
  4. Scroll down until you can see the bottom of the sidebar and you will see a field for Deactivated On. This timestamp reflects when the device was deactivated. Please note that this field was created in July 2024, devices deactivated before this date will not have a Deactivated On date. 
  5. If your device does not have a Deactivated Date, you may find the information you need by checking: 
    1. What was the event date that this item was used in? Find this by clicking on the Event Link in the sidebar. This only applies to items deactivated via an Event. 
    2. The Last modified date of a deactivated item, also in the sidebar of the device detail screen.
