How can non-users accept transfers without logging into ConnectSx?
Non-Users can Use Packing Slip QR Codes to Report on a Transfer
Last updated: May 2024
We’re always looking for ways to make things faster, easier, and more automated. To that end, we designed a way for individuals who do not use ConnectSx to report on a transfer without connecting with a licensed user. Sometimes you’re shipping transfers to users who have not yet been onboarded to your system or to facilities with staff who do not use ConnectSx. However, with this feature they’d still be able to let you know that the shipment arrived and, if everything is ok, accept the transfer.
If the manufacturer included the Packing Slip with the shipment there will be two QR codes at the bottom of the list. Scanning these QR codes allows the recipient to accept or report a problem with the transfer without going into your account to do so.
To utilize this feature the recipient will need to do the following, share these instructions with the recipients:
-
Locate the Packing Slip and review it for accuracy. Before you take action you will want to make sure the inventory is correct.
-
Next, scan the QR code corresponding to the action you would like to take: Accept or Decline.
-
This will open a window allowing you to accept or decline the shipment.
-
If you’re accepting, enter your name in the “Received by” field.
-
Then click “Accept shipment”.
-
If you’re declining, enter your name in the “Received by” field and enter a comment to explain why you’re declining.
-
Then click “send”.
