How can you create an Event with AI? 

Upload a typed or handwritten bill-sheet to create an Event

That’s right, ConnectSx is rolling out new Artificial Intelligence tools to make your life easier! We’ve got some awesome new tools to help you automate and get things done, namely how you can scan in a typed or hand-written bill-sheet to automatically create an Event!

Some users prefer to write things down on paper bill-sheets when they’re in the case, rather than typing directly into their phone. This feature would allow you to convert that handwriting right into your Case or other Event type in ConnectSx! Maybe you have a user who doesn’t use ConnectSx and sends you paper, handwritten bill-sheets. Usually you have to enter these manually as an Admin or Distributor and you just want an easier way - well here it is.

To scan in a handwritten bill-sheet first you’ll need the Bill-Sheet Template to use in your case:

  1. Navigate to the Events page in the Navigation menu

  2. Click "New Event" and select the option for "Upload Bill Sheet"

  3. In the pop-up, click the button for "Download Template"
  4. Print this out and bring copies of it with you to your cases so you can write down what you use. You can also type in the data into this sheet on the computer, if you prefer. This is what you will scan or photograph to upload into Beacon to create your case. 
  5. You may also record your sales on this bill sheet and upload it to mark devices as used using Beacon AI

Note: This feature supports .JPG or .PDF.

  • Any file that is not the ConnectSx template must be a .JPG file.

  • You may input device labels or non-template bill sheets, but they must be .JPG Files.

  • If you use the ConnectSx Bill-Sheet Template, you may upload a .PDF

  • Make sure to put a "-" dash in any field not used in a line you're writing on. It is not necessary to add a dash to any unused bottom rows. 

 Upload your Bill Sheet to create the Event

  1. Once again, navigate to the Events page 
  2. Click "New Event" and select the option for "Upload Bill Sheet" 
  3. This time, select the file from your computer to upload. As mentioned above, the system accepts:
    1. JPG image of a bill sheet or device labels.
    2. A PDF of our template
  4. Select the Event type from the dropdown menu
  5. Click "Drop Files to Upload" and select your file to begin the upload. 
  6. For best results:
    1. Make sure the data on the bill-sheet has been created in your Account (Directory entries, users, etc.) and that they are written exactly as they are in your account
    2. Write legibly 
    3. Write in the space provided, above the base line
    4. See Example below:
  7. The Event creation popup will appear with the details from your bill sheet populated as best as the AI could parse the information
  8. Check the information displayed for accuracy and make adjustments if anything needs to be changed. 

  9. Add a name for the Event or any other information that is missing.
  10. Then click "Next". 
  11. Select the Manufacturer from the drop down menu and you may select a preference card, product lines, or assign containers if you choose to. 
  12. Click "Create", and your event will be created.
