When you’re entering your directory entries, you’ll need to assign your procedures to the physicians that perform them so they will be available to select when your users are entering their Events. Creating these assignments ensures data integrity and that the relevant directory entries are easily selectable for your users. Don’t forget to also assign your Products, Facilities, Manufacturers, Recipes, Physicians, and Locations to your users so they can select them as well.
Note: If assignments are not created or if there are inactive directory records, these will not show up when your users are selecting directory records in an Event. Make sure your assignments are correct and up-to-date to make sure your users are successful!
It is also a good practice to notify affected users if a directory record becomes inactive, so they know it will no longer appear when they are creating Events.

Navigate to the Directory

Select the Physician you’d like to assign Procedures to in the Physicians page

Select the Procedures, Products, and Facilities from the relevant drop down menus and hit enter to select them.

Make sure to click Save!
