When inventory is requested that doesn’t always mean that it will be fulfilled. Sometimes inventory is not available or demand is considered unwarranted, resulting in a partial fulfillment when some inventory items are transferred to the requestor but not everything they asked for.
In these instances it might be a good idea to let the recipient know that they aren’t receiving everything that they requested, and we have just the thing to help you: a packing slip including the items from the shipment and the items that were not fulfilled from the request.

First you’ll have to mark which items have not been fulfilled. Learn more about how to do this here.

Once you’ve marked your unfulfilled or partially fulfilled items, navigate to the transfer in question in Beacon and click into its detail screen.

Scroll down to the Export Packing slip button.

Select the option for “Include partial or not shipped items”.

The resulting packing slip will include a section for the items that were not fulfilled.

The packing slip will display the items marked as not shipped/partially fulfilled at the time that the PDF is generated. If the shipped items are updated at a later date and the PDF is regenerated, it will display updated data.
