How do I save a weight for my inventory items? 

You are able to save a weight for an inventory item in your product catalog. The default measurement units for all weights are set by the Organization's operations users or admins. This article will show you how to set the measurement units and how to add a weight to a device. 

To set the weight measurement units for your account: 

1. Navigate to the Settings section of your account as an Operations user or Admin
2. Switch to the Organization tab of the Settings page
3. Scroll down to the field titled "Default Unit of Measure for Weights"
4. Select the measurement units
5. Click Save
   

How to save a weight for an inventory item in Beacon

1. To save the weight of a device navigate to the Catalog section of Beacon
2. Locate the Catalog Record in question using the search bar and available filters
3. Scroll down and enter the shipping weight in the appropriate field
4. Click Save!
