How do I track container turns in ConnectSx?

Are you struggling to keep tabs on how often your containers are turning in the field? We have a report for that. The report counts the number of Events the container as associated with during a given date range.

The Inventory Turns Report provides comprehensive visibility into your container and reusable device utilization. This report tracks the frequency of use in sales events for both inventory types, with powerful filtering by catalog, custodian, and date range. By understanding utilization patterns across your trackable inventory, you can optimize stock levels, improve asset allocation, and streamline operations for enhanced performance and cost-effectiveness.

Note: Only containers and devices that have been assigned to case, trial or sample event types will be included in this report. The date range is based on the Event Date entered on the event.

  1. Navigate to the Reports Screen of the Console.

  2. Scroll down to the Inventory Turn Report. You'll notice two separate tables for Container vs. Reusable Device turns.

  3. Select your date range

  4. Select specific catalog #'s or custodians, if desired

  5. Click the purple refresh button to apply filters
  6. To download the report: Click on the vertical ellipse or Kabob menu that appears when you hover over the upper right corner (Tile Actions)
    1. Select Download Data
    2. Choose your File Type
    3. Change your download settings. The most common download for a .CSV or Excel file should use the following settings. It is critical to use these settings to ensure all of the data is able to export.
      1. In Results, select "With visualization options applied"
      2. In Data Values, select "Unformatted (no rounding, special characters, etc.)
      3. In Number of Rows to Include, select "All Results"
        1. This is very important as your data set may extend farther than Looker is able to display visually in Beacon, but you want to make sure to export all data.
