Why am I receiving a 5020 Error when trying to export an invoice to Quickbooks?

If you are receiving an error that says “5020 error, permission denied” when trying to export an invoice to Quickbooks, there is likely an issue with the Quickbooks login credentials that is preventing the ConnectSx integration from working.

This can happen for a variety of reasons:

  • The user that connected ConnectSx to Quickbooks left the company and their account was deactivated

  • The password of the Quickbooks account used has changed

  • Any other change that would otherwise revoke access to that Quickbooks account

To resolve this, you’ll need to disconnect and then reconnect the Quickbooks account to Connectsx.
