How can I filter my Supplier Orders from my Field Inventory Requests?

To help organizations efficiently manage their inventory pipelines, ConnectSx Beacon allows you to filter your Requests list by their origin. This makes it simple to separate high-volume supplier requests (organization-level orders to your suppliers) from localized field requests for more inventory (sales representatives requesting products for upcoming surgical cases).

Understanding Request Sources

  • Org Requests: Requests created at the organization level. These are typically large replenishment orders routed directly to external manufacturers or suppliers to restock hub warehouses.

  • User Requests: Standard inventory requests initiated by individual sales representatives or field personnel who need specific devices, containers, or packs allocated to them for case coverage.

How to Filter Your Requests List

You can quickly slice your view using the dedicated filtering options on the main Requests page:

  1. Navigate to the Movements section and select Requests.

  2. Click the Filter icon located in the top-right corner of the page.

  3. Locate the Request Source filter dropdown.

  4. Choose one of the following options based on what you need to review:

    • All (Default): Displays every request in the system seamlessly mixed together.

    • Org Requests: Siloes the list to display only organization-created requests.

    • User Requests: Displays only user-created field requests, completely hiding corporate supplier orders.

  5. Click apply to update the list view.

Note: The Request Source filter works entirely in tandem with your existing search infrastructure. You can safely combine this source classification with active filters for Requested By, Manufacturer, Catalog Number, and Status to drill down to exact subsets of data.

Session Persistence

To minimize repetitive clicks during your logistics workflows, your chosen selection (All, Org Requests, or User Requests) will persist dynamically throughout your active browser session. If you navigate away to look at a case or check inventory detail, the system will remember your active source filter when you click back into the Requests list.
