Overview
To provide organizations with more granular control over their billing workflows, a new security profile parameter has been introduced for Sales and Distributor roles. Administrators can now cleanly HIDE the "Submit PO" button from field user profiles. To do this they revoke access to Add POs in the User Detail Screen.
This update ensures that organizations preferring to route all Purchase Order entries through a centralized back-office or operations team can do so seamlessly, preventing field users from inadvertently completing or moving cases prematurely.
Key Capabilities
Granular Permission Control: Enable or disable the visibility of the "Submit PO" action button on a user-by-user or role-profile basis.
Workflow Enforcement: Prevent Sales and Distributor roles from finalizing PO details, ensuring all case paperwork undergoes administrative review.
Clean Interface: When configured to hidden, the button is completely removed from the user interface on both desktop and mobile platforms, reducing visual clutter for field representatives.
How to Configure Button Visibility (For Admins)
Administrators can toggle this setting by navigating to user profile controls within the ConnectSx Console:
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Log into the ConnectSx Console using an Admin or Operations account.
Navigate to the Users tab from the main sidebar navigation.
Select the specific Sales or Distributor user account you wish to modify.
Scroll down to the User Level Settings or Role Privileges section.
Locate the parameter labeled "Allow user to submit Purchase Orders" (or Submit PO Button Visibility).
Flip the toggle switch to your desired position:
ON (Default): The "Submit PO" button remains visible and actionable for the field user.
OFF: The "Submit PO" button is hidden entirely from the user's view.
Click Save at the top right of the profile page to apply the changes instantly.

Admin Overrides: Regardless of this toggle status, Admin and Operations accounts will always maintain full visibility and capability to add or submit PO numbers to move cases from Pending PO to Pending Payment status.
Session Persistence: If a user is currently logged into the mobile app when the toggle is flipped, they will see the UI update immediately upon their next background sync or page force-reload.
