Overview
Previously, pulling performance analytics and case histories required requesting custom exports from your system Administrator. You can now access four key, sales-focused reports directly from your Beacon Console. All dashboards are dynamically filtered behind the scenes, meaning you will only see your own personal data, your distributorship's data, or the physicians and facilities specifically assigned to you.
Available Reports and Their Value
1. Total Sales Dashboard
What it tracks: A high-level dashboard summarizing your overall sales metrics, volume, and revenue trends over custom timeframes.
Why it’s valuable: Perfect for regular business reviews. Use it to monitor your performance against sales targets, track month-over-month growth, and quickly visualize which product lines are driving your business.
2. Sales Data Export
What it tracks: A line-item, granular log of all closed and billable sales transactions tied to your account.
Why it’s valuable: If you need to build custom spreadsheets, reconcile commission sheets, or conduct deep-dive territory audits, this report provides the raw, unaggregated transaction rows ready for spreadsheet analysis.
3. Case Report
What it tracks: A complete log of surgical events, case statuses, and historical scheduling details across your assigned facilities.
Why it’s valuable: Use this to analyze your surgical case volumes, track cases currently pending billing milestones, and review historical product consumption trends by specific physicians.
4. Actual vs. Quoted Usage Analysis
What it tracks: A comparison tool that cross-references the inventory quoted or requested for a case against what was actually consumed and billed during surgery.
Why it’s valuable: Essential for optimizing your field inventory. This report highlights over-ordering patterns, helps you refine your "just-in-time" request habits, and ensures you are bringing the right equipment to the hospital without over-burdening your car or logistics teams.
How to Access and Filter Reports
Log into the ConnectSx Console and locate the sidebar menu.
Navigate to the Reports section.
Click on any of the four report cards listed to load the live Looker dashboard.
Using Filters: At the top of each dashboard, you will see interactive filter fields (e.g., Date Range, Manufacturer, Facility, or Physician).
Adjust the fields to narrow your view.
Click the Update button (the purple arrow/refresh icon on the top right of the filter bar) to reload the dashboard with your criteria applied.
⚠️ Important Note on Filter Dropdowns: If you click a filter dropdown like "Physician" or "Hospital," you will only see names that are explicitly assigned to you in the system. You cannot view or filter by another rep's or distributor's accounts.
How to Export data from a Report
If you need to extract data for offline use or to share with a surgeon, follow these steps to export with the clean settings:
Hover over the specific table or chart element within the report that you wish to download.
Click the three vertical dots (More options icon) that appear in the top-right corner of that specific report tile.
Select Download Data.
In the export configuration window, choose your preferred format (e.g., Advanced Formats > Excel Spreadsheet or CSV).
Recommended Setting: Under the Values option, ensure you select Formatted if you want currency figures and dates to display cleanly, or Unformatted if you plan to run automated mathematical formulas on the raw numbers.
Click Download. The file will compile and save directly to your local device.
