Report Description: Tracks how often each rep's field sets turn over and how that activity translates to revenue across product lines and device types. For every combination of rep, product line, and device type, displays sets currently on hand, monthly turns over the trailing 12 months, attributed revenue, and the date of the most recent sale. Reps holding sets with no recent activity are surfaced so underutilized inventory is easy to spot. Filter by rep, product line, device type, or manufacturer. Data is updated daily.
Overview
Maximizing field asset efficiency is critical for maintaining an lean and cost-effective value chain. While your standard Inventory Turns Report tracks general sterilization and consumption frequency at a catalog level, the new Rep Container Turns Report provides a localized, individual view of how effectively your field assets are working for your territory.
This specialized analytics report tracks the exact turn frequencies and lifecycle movement of containers (such as sets, custom trays, and kits) specifically assigned to individual sales representatives and distributor groups over custom windows of time.
Why this report is valuable:
Identify Stagnant Field Stock: Spot high-value surgical kits or instrument sets that are sitting idle in a specific representative's car trunk or a hospital store room without generating sales.
Optimize Asset Redistribution: Uncover territory bottlenecks. If a container shows zero turns in Territory A but is in high demand in Territory B, you can immediately initiate a transfer to get that asset back into rotation.
Audit and Compliance Readiness: Maintain a clear, historical audit trail of container assignments, enabling your team to trace which representatives held certain assets during critical surgical case intervals.
Key Metrics Tracked in the Report
The Rep Container Turns Report compiles tabular metadata from completed events (Surgical Cases, Clinical Trials, and Sample distributions) and maps them dynamically against your field structure. The granular rows provide:
Representative Name & Distributor Group: The active custodian responsible for the container during the specified reporting interval.
Container ID & Unique Catalog #: The distinct system tags differentiating your trays.
Turn Count: The exact number of closed events/cases where the specific container was physically present or associated.
Days Since Last Turn: A live counter showing the exact number of days that have elapsed since the container was last assigned to an event.
Location Proximity: Displays the distance between the representative’s registered home zip code and the primary facility where the asset has been logging data.
How to Access and Filter the Report
