We're glad you're here. This article will give you the basics you need to get started.
Thanks for choosing a Beacon Free Trial! In order to get value out of your time with us and to make sure you have a chance to experience Beacon, you'll need to do some basic setup.
First, get logged into your account at: beacon.connectsx.com using your login credentials which were provided to you.
The best way to see the value in a free trial is to pick one or two reps/distributors you want to model and then pick the doctors and hospitals that they will work with and only load the inventory that they will need.
1. Directory: This is where we store your critical business data used to bill for your cases, such as Healthcare Facilities, Physicians, Manufacturers, and Procedures. To get started, make sure you create at least one:
- Facility (Customer)
- Price List (Would you like to try populating a Facility Contract Price List?)
- Physician
- Procedure
- Manufacturer (Your Organization at minimum)
2. Inventory: To work in the system you'll need some inventory created. It likely doesn't make sense to try to import your entire stock, but please add enough devices for you to log some cases and transfers, perhaps 20. The easiest ways to do this for our purposes will be:
3. Users: If your trial includes any other users, you'll need to create them and assign Directory records to them so they'll be able to create their cases. (Custodian-only user, you wont be able to add new full license users during a free trial)
4. Start Using Beacon! Here are some things to try:
- Transfer some inventory from one User (Custodian) to another
- Create a Case (Event)
- Record your Sales in your Case (Mark Used Inventory)
- New User
