How do I navigate Beacon to do what I need to do?

Beacon (and Beacon Mobile, since it mirrors the web functionality in a mobile style) have a simple navigation menu that can be accessed from any page you are on in the system. Let's take a deeper look.

First, get logged in.
Beacon Dashboard
After logging in you will be brought to the Beacon Dashboard where you can see quick insights about your account.
Change the tab of the dashboard to view widgets pertaining to your Events, Inventory/Movement, or Sales.
Access the Navigation Menu
On the web the navigation menu is displayed along the left hand side of the screen and can be accessed from any page.
On mobile, click on the hamburger icon in the upper right corner to bring up the navigation menu.
From the Navigation Menu you may access the other areas of the system:
Events:
Create different events to consume inventory from your account, such as billing for a surgical case or making an inventory stock adjustment.
Inventory:
This is where you can review and modify your inventory.
- Access and manage inventory in your custody
- Manage your product catalog
- Create or modify Bills of materials
- Access your inventory audits.
- (Some of these may not be available to your account depending on your role and premium features)*
Movement:
This is where inventory movement is handled including:
- Making requests
- Fulfilling requests (Admins)
- Managing inventory transfers
- Create Custom Locations
Directory:
The Directory is where you store and manage all of your critical business information which you'll need to create your cases and bill for your sales, including:
Reports:
Access data reports and export your data.
Beacon Intelligence Dashboards:
In many of the pages of your account you'll be able to access in-depth intelligence dashboards to get deeper analytics and insights into your account.
Users:
Create and Manage your users, their settings, and directory assignments.
Settings:
Access your account information and control settings for your organization (Admins)
