Role Description:
The Operations User/General Administrator govern the data for the company. They are in charge of keeping the Facility, Physician, Procedure, Product info, and User data up to date. They are also in charge of the organization’s settings, including what users are allowed (or required) to do.
In some cases, Administrators may also be responsible for inventory movement and processing sales, so these subjects are also covered below.
This study guide serves as a primer for a user to begin exploring the functionality they may use on a daily basis. This is meant to supplement in-person training, and may not include all advanced functionality that’s covered throughout the rest of the users’ training.

- Inventory Stock Management: One thing you never want to happen (if you can help it) is to run out of inventory and not be able to support sales. Part of that is maintaining awareness of case activity so you can support the demand for inventory. - Creating Inventory: Admins may be responsible for creating inventory in their Org’s account. There are multiple ways to do this in ConnectSx, and the following articles cover each in depth:
- Inventory Movement: In some cases Administrators may be in charge of inventory movement as well. They may fulfill inventory requests and transfer inventory to designate changes in inventory custody or location as stock is moved to support cases, relieve stuck inventory, and optimize inventory distribution. - Events Workflow: Admins may also be involved in processing sales/cases, in the event that a Rep or Distributor does not enter the data.
